"In a World of My Own" ~ Musical Versions of Lewis Carroll's Wonderland
Explore music inspired by Lewis Carroll's classic children books, Alice in Wonderland, and, its sequel, Through the Looking-Glass. Go down the rabbit-hole or through the looking-glass to hear the influence of Alice's journeys in motion pictures, classical music, popular music genres, and videogame culture.
Contrariwise, if you would like to experience the novels themselves with proper song placement of movie versions included in Carroll's text, you may do so at any time.
Carroll's poems which inspired much of the alternate musical versions may additionally be read in full on their own.
Remember: there are no rules in Wonderland, so if you don't know where you are trying to get to then it doesn't much matter which way you go!
